THE FACTIONS:

The Augmentors are an extremist subsect of the Reformers hiding in plain sight. They believe augmenting humanity with machinery is the next step of evolution, cementing the elite class as superior beings and overseers of civilization. They will achieve their goals by any means necessary, and have no qualms stepping over any bodies that come between them and their aspirations.

The Reformers are a political sect that push for scientific and technological advancement—until it becomes a physical part of us. As a whole the Reformers reject the idea of augmenting humans with machinery. Yet, there are those hiding within their ranks who won't shy away from what they believe is the 'next step of human evolution.'

Comprised primarily of the working class, the Protestors denounce their mistreatment by the upper class. However, their principal objective is justice for what they believe was done to members of their family by those in charge of the new Sky Locomotive, an incident that has shaped events for the Empire.

The Traditionalists are a governmental faction that preaches technology tempered with humanity. They reject advancements that negatively affect any group, regardless of status. Though they have been pushed out of their authority within Parliament by the Reformers, they are vocal about their reservations of the new Sky Locomotive project, and are unafraid to take action to safeguard humanity's future.
